LED thoran sizes: which height and width to buy
Thoran sizes are written height (drop) × width. Pick the height for the part you want to light, then the width that covers it.
2.5 ft to 4 ft drop: gates, walls, balconies, shops
5 ft to 8 ft drop: ground floor and venue entrances
10 ft drop: two-storey fronts
20 ft drop: full building fronts

How to measure
Measure the width of the gate, wall or building front, and how far down you want the light to hang (the drop). Sizes are height × width: a 4 ft × 30 ft thoran hangs 4 ft down and covers 30 ft across.
Which height for which place
- 2.5 ft and 4 ft: gates, compound walls, balconies and shop fronts.
- 5 ft to 8 ft: ground floor fronts, wedding entrances and stage backdrops.
- 10 ft: two-storey house fronts.
- 20 ft: full building fronts, hotels and wedding halls.
Pixel or 12V
Pixel thorans (5V RGB) change colour and play designs from a controller; taller sizes use a T1000 or data controller with a 5V 400W power supply. 12V thorans are a single colour or mix colour on safe low voltage. See all pixel thorans and 12V thorans.
